SMS Messaging Terms & Consent

This page describes the ikabod.ai text-messaging program operated by Ikabod Labs, LLC (“ikabod.ai,” “we,” “us”). ikabod.ai is a messaging-based back-office assistant for tradespeople: you text us a photo of your job notes or a voice memo, and we text back a finished invoice, bid, or customer record you can forward to your customer.
How you opt in
You opt in to receive text messages from ikabod.ai by starting a conversation with us — there is no purchase or account required to start. You can opt in by:
- Texting our program number, or tapping the button below (which opens your messaging app pre-addressed to us);
- Scanning the QR code on our home page; or
- Entering your mobile number and agreeing to these terms where we offer a sign-up form.
By doing any of the above, you agree to receive recurring automated and conversational text messages (SMS/MMS) from ikabod.ai at the mobile number you used, and you confirm you are the account holder or have authority to consent for that number.
Your consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
What the program includes
- Program name: ikabod.ai (operated by Ikabod Labs, LLC).
- Who receives messages: tradespeople and business owners who text us to use the service. We message you, our user — not your customers.
- Message types: account and onboarding notifications, invoice and bid confirmations with links, reminders and follow-ups you ask for, and conversational replies to your requests. The program is transactional and conversational; it is not used for unrelated marketing.
- Message frequency: recurring and conditional — it varies with how often you send us jobs. There is no fixed number of messages.
- Cost: ikabod.ai does not charge for the texts themselves, but message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.

Opt out (STOP) and help (HELP)
You can cancel the messaging program at any time by texting STOP to our number. After you send STOP, we will send one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not send further messages unless you opt back in by texting START.

Your privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We share data only with the subprocessors that help us deliver the service (such as messaging carriers and platforms), under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing services to us.

Carriers
Supported carriers include the major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier and device availability.
